It started by trying to get my sick little kiddo to eat by using a fork "choo choo" to shovel the food into the tunnel and now Jack is a train lover. And if Jack likes trains, Joseph (Jamie Diatta's little boy) LOVES them with a passion. So when we heard that the Chicagoland Lionel Train Club would be holding an open house, we knew the boys needed to go and see all the trains. Even I was impressed with all the trains and neat accessories and elaborate set-ups. Even Santa was there to ride the rails. The boys had a great time watching the trains and pushing the buttons to sound the horns and activate the lights. They even had free popcorn (Jack's favorite). After our visit we had lunch at Choo Choo Johnny's, a local restaurant where your lunch is delivered on a train. The boys loved watching the train ride by piled high with hot dogs and beef sandwiches. It was a great day!
