Grandparents Day at the Morton Arboretum

On Grandparents Day we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Lucas with a trip to the Morton Arboretum. It was a hot day, but it was beautiful and there was plenty to keep us busy for a couple hours. The children's garden was so much fun and we enjoyed the maze, especially climbing into the tree tower to run in circles and look out over all the beautiful trees.

Jack and Alex officially have better cars than their mother! Thanks to Mimi and the neighbors who were finished with their fun power wheels, Jack and Alex are the proud new owners of a truck and a yellow Corvette. The batteries aren't working (the battery doesn't work on Mommy' care either) right now, but are easily replaced when we think the boys are ready for the motorized vehicle. For now Jack is just enjoying visiting and climbing in and out of "Jack's new cars."
