On Monday, Jack had his ear surgery and everything went very well. The nurses and doctors were SO, SO nice and Jack made quick friends with everyone there. The surgery to insert tiny little tubes in both ears took about 15 minutes and the recovery took about 30 mintues and involved a lot of crying. By the time we got home he was back to normal and asking for his favorite food (cereal) within minutes of returning to the house. He also managed to knock over the Christmas tree within 15 minutes of returning home. Since the surgery, Jack has quickly bounced back to his happy, friendly self and I have even noticed that he seems slightly calmer and listens to and follows directions better. We are so glad to have it done and are looking forward to an infection free holiday season!
