Halloween is quickly becoming one of my favorite days. I don't think I've cared a thing about Halloween since I turned 12. Now, seeing it through Jack's eyes, it has become magical again. This year finding the perfect costume was a challenge. We wanted Jack to be a jack-in-the-box and looked high and low for a clown costume, but couldn't find one. Ultimately we ordered one online and when it arrived it was too small even though I ordered it extra big. So we went shopping and found an adorable dragon costume. Jack wore it to the local Halloween party and to visit me at school, but the 75 degree evening was just too warm for the extra padded costume. Thankfully, Jack's buddy Joe gave us his Lion costume from last year. It was light weight and almost fit (it was a little small) and it worked out great.
We hit the town Halloween parade, posed for a picture with everyone in costume and then trick-or-treated our way down Hickory Street (the street that I grew up on) back to our house. We met Marissa, Jarrod and little monkey Anthony along the way and we all enjoyed way too much pizza before heading to bed. Tons of Fun!!
