Today we celebrated Joey Diatta's 2nd birthday. Jamie and Youssou held a little party at their house with about 7 kids under 3 in attendance and Jack had a great time. From the raisens to the Thomas tent and especially the face painting... Jack had a great time! All three of us were ready for bed by the time we got home.
It is truly amazing to watch Joey and Jack grow up together. Who would have ever imagined back in 1986 that Jamie and I would not only remain friends for 22 years, but be able to raise our boys at friends as well. Jack absolutely loves is buddy, Joey, and talks about him all the time. He also loves to look at photos of Jamie and point out her pics on our fridge to everyone. We are so blessed to have made it this far together and I look forward to continuing to experience Jack and Joey's friendship as it grows. I pray that in 2029, Joey and Jack will look back at 22 years of friendship and know what true friendship is as Jamie and I do now.

Hi Jen- Thanks for the warm and fuzzys! It is crazy to think about how long we have been friends. I just finished updating my blog a few minutes ago. Before loggin off the computer- I thought I would check your blog too. I chuckld to see that you and I posted alomst the exact same pictures from the party! HaHa! I guess that's what 22 years of friendship does to people!
