Okay... it's September 19, 2008 and I have neglected my blog. It all started when I couldn't decide what pics to post from our trip to Mexico. I missed being able to upload as many as I wanted like I did on our old site. So than I started looking at new sites that have more options and stuff, but I've yet to find an alternative that I like. Add to that the fact that I am so busy now that I am back to work and I just haven't had the energy to post. So, I will try to start posting a few pics over the next few days.
So what has happened since the last entry. Well, we (Geoff, Jack, me and many others) spent a wonderful week in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. As soon as we returned I returned to work after having the whole summer off. The transition back was very smooth for Jack, but it was difficult for me to readjust and I am still having trouble getting into a sleep routine. Geoff, Jack and I enjoyed a Jackhammers game on August 29. We attended the Will County Fair, where Jack won second prize in his age category. We had a great time at the Fall Fest Parade with Rachel, Seth, Diane, Jamie, Joey, Ryan, Kyle, Billy and Erin. Jack and Joey had some great fun in the hose in the backyard. Jack and I attended the Harvest Fest in Mokena and he rode on a horse for the first time. Finally, Jack and Anthony have had more fun lately. As they are getting older, the five month gap seems less and less important and the two have found that they have a lot of interests in common. They have demonstrated these shared interests by fighting over toys and throwing the occasional tantrum when they lose. That's about it.
