Easter

Well, the last of Jack's first holidays has come and gone with his 1st Easter. We had a chance to celebrate with the Lucas family on Saturday and it was a good thing because Sunday was a busy, busy day. Dressed in our Easter best (and boy did my guys look handsome) we set off for church about 8:45. In my infinate wisdom I scheduled the Hawke and Lucas families to serve refreshements after church on March 23, not realizing it was Easter Sunday at the time. It kept us busy, but it was wonderful to stop and chat with our church family and wish everyone a happy holiday. To hungry to wait for me to cook we head to Plaza Cafe for a bite to eat and spent most of the time guarding our plates from Jack's busy little fingers. Back at home we took a few pics, played with Jack's Easter basket and sent the g-parents home so we could take a nap. About 5 they came back with Uncle Billy in tow and we enjoyed a nice dinner together. All-in-all a laid back and entirely enjoyable day. HAPPY FIRST EASTER BABY BOY!!!
